Tissue culture

Research in this field aims to develop the technology to grow tissue grafts that can be used in clinical applications. Therefore, the optimal biochemical and mechanical conditions for the stimulation of proliferation and differentiation of tissue are being studied. Another research question is whether and it is possible to stimulate the growth of bone, cartilage or blood vessels in the patient’s own body. The knowledge gained in this research will also be applied in other approaches of regenerative and vice versa.
